​This year, instead of having a Bull Roast, or selling candy and popcorn, try a new and fun baseball related fundraiser! BUBA Baseball offers a next level fundraiser called a Hack-A-Thon! Gather all of the teams in your organization so they can all swing for the fences, and compete in an indoor batting cage showdown using our 20,000 square foot baseball facility and cutting-edge HitTrax technology!

What’s a Hack-A-Thon?
It’s a fun and competitive event where players step into the batter’s box, take their best swings, and rack up runs in an exciting indoor baseball tournament. Whether its during fallball, winter workout time or during the season, this organization fundraiser is a great idea!

​Benefits of Having a Multiteam Hack-A-Thon

Increased Excitement Through Team Rivalries: The Hack-A-Thon can spark friendly and sometimes not so friendly rivalries between teams, making the event more engaging for both the participants and the parents. If you have a younger team that is really good or two teams in the same age bracket (i.e two 12u teams)

Team Building: A multiteam format encourages players to work together and cheer on their teammates, even if they’re competing individually. This sense of unity can help build stronger team dynamics.

Fan & Parent Engagement: A multiteam Hack-A-Thon means more participants, leading to more interaction with participants. On a white board we draft a double elimination bracket with all of the teams competing for a championship. This gives parents and fans a chance to root for their favorite players or teams accros the organization.

Revenue Generation: The event is likely to attract more donors due to the increased number of teams and the added excitement of the competition. More donors mean raising more money overall, especially if it’s a large event with different teams participating.

Fun for all Ages: Because BUBA has HitTrax we are able to adjust the technology to make the Hack-A-Thon tournament competitive. We do this by adjusting pitch velocity, power or boost settings, ballpark dimentions and pitch types. This means that a 9u team can beat a 15u team.

Here’s how your donors will support the Hack-A-Thon:
Donors give either a flat fee or an amount tied to a players performance in the Hack-A-Thon. Donors will use the RallyUp platform to make donations. They can easily contribute online and track their team’s fundraising progress toward their goal. RallyUp is a safe and secure payment processing platform that uses SSL encryption ensuring that personal and financial data is securely transmitted during the donor transaction. Teams crush their fundraising targets while competing in this action-packed event!
